- Abstract
- MYCOPHENOLATE mofetil (MMF) is a potent and
selective inhibitor of B- and T-lymphocyte prolifer-
ation that has proven effective in reducing the incidence of
acute rejection in cadaveric kidney transplant recipients in
several randomized clinical studies.¹-³
We conducted a
nonrandomized prospective study to compare the efficacy
and safety of triple-drug therapy with MMF (1 g b.i.d) and
conventional double drug regimen (cyclosporine and pred-
nisolone).
