음낭 질환의 색도플러초음파 검사의 유용성

Abstract

Color Doppler sonography was performed in 41 patients with scrotal disorders (30 case of inflammatory disease,8 cases of varicocele, and 3 cases of tumor). Of the 30 cases of inflammatory disease (epididymitis n=19,epididymo-orchitis n=11), color doppler image demonstrated increased epididymal or testicular flow in 24 (80%)cases (16 cases of epididymitis, 8 cases of epididymo-orchitis). It proved to be helpful in demonstratinginflammatory hypermia and excluding the testicular torsion. All 8 cases of varicocele were identified on colorDoppler imaging, especially during Valsalva maneuvor. Color did not aid in the diagnosis of intratesticularneoplasm, but one cases of leukemic infiltration revealed markedly increased vascularity. Keyword : Ultrasound(US),Doppler studies
