악성종양의 상박 신경총 침범으로 유발된 불인성 통증의 치료법으로서의 지속적 상박 신경총 차단술 -증례 보고-

Abstract

Three patients had severe neuropathic pain, caused by a pancoast tumor, and brachial plexopathy, caused by primary or metastatic lesions, of the esophagus. These patients did not respond to any medication. Therefore, attempts were made to control the pain with brachial plexus block. An indwelling catheter was inserted in the brachial plexus, using a infraclavicular approach, with a modified Rajtechnique. The visual analogue scale scores of all the patients were evaluated. There was a significant reduction in the visual analog scale scores, with no side effects from the technique, the continuous administration of local anesthetics, morphine or ketamine.
