Abstract

There is now no doubt that, an infertility problems can be due to sperm antibody. This antibody can occur in the either women or men, nrxl may be detected by agglutination, imirjobilizalion, cytotoxicity or imrnunoflurorescenl test.

Though we sti]] not understand nl] aspcct of sperm antibodies —a sometimes cont.rov(、rsial subject— we have progressed to the point of defining the couples who will benefit from the sperm antibody testing and from the spcrific treatment to improve their infertility.

入Ve found sperm antibodies in serum 1*5.1% of infertile women through the use of kibrik- test, and 13.3% by the Franklin-Dukes' test.

Using these methods we have also studied fertile populations. Although a few poshj ve results were noted, the incidence was much lower than in the infertile populations.
