산업간호사의 산업장 건강증진사업에 대한 중요성 인지도 및 실천정도

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve workplace health promotion program by investigating the level of importance and performance of daily-activity and environment management related to workplace health promotion and knowledge and revision opinion of law and regulation related to workplace health promotion program. The subjects of this study were 218 occupational nurses all over the country. Questionnaire containing 200 questions were made by the researcher and tested content validity by 4 nursing faculties and 5 occupational nurses. The data collection was performed from September, 18, to October, 20, 2006 and analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0. The results from this research were as follows: 1. Awareness of importance of daily-activity related to workplace health promotion was marked as 3.21 out of the total score of 4. Prevention of accident and emergency treatment got the highest score as 3.55 and oral health got the lowest score as 2.87. Performance level of daily-activity related to workplace health promotion was marked as 2.79 out of the total score of 4. Regular check-up got the highest score as 3.52 and drug abuse got the lowest score as 2.16. 2. Awareness of importance of environment management related to workplace health promotion was marked as 3.37 out of the total score of 4. Performance level of environment management related to workplace health promotion was marked as 2.76 out of the total score of 4. Providing and Wearing of the personal protective equipments got the highest score both awareness of importance and performance level. 3. In occupational nurses' knowledge about law and regulation, ratio of correct answer was 55 percentage that was low intellectual level. Revision opinion of low and regulation related to workplace health promotion was marked as 3.35 out of the total score of 4. Revision necessity of low and regulations was high level. 4. The mandatory employment of occupational health nurse or occupational nurse in 50 - 500 person workplace got the highest score in revision opinion of law and regulations. 5. Awareness of importance related to health promotion according to subjects' general characteristics is higher in the case of experienced of other workplace and being of health education room. In the performance level, there are significant differences of region, work career, workplace scale, daily average user of health management room and number of health education for a year. 6. Awareness of importance of workplace's environmental management according to subjects's general characteristics, there are significant differences of age and the number of daily average users of health management room. 7. In knowledge of law and regulation according to subjects' general characteristics, advanced degree was higher than graduates of two-year colleges. Revision opinion of law and regulation was significant differences of school career, work career, industrial classification, existence and nonexistence of health education room. Result of these studies will provide baseline data for selecting the order of priority according to awareness of importance of daily-activity, environmental management and law and regulation in the occupational health promotion and operating health promotion program.

본 연구는 산업장에서 근무하고 있는 간호사를 대상으로 산업장 건강증진 관련 생활습관 및 환경관리의 중요성 인지도와 실천정도, 법ㆍ규정에 대한 지식 및 개정의견을 조사하고, 산업장 건강증진사업에 대한 개선방안을 제시하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구의 대상자는 전국의 산업간호사 218명이며, 본 연구자가 고안하여 간호학 교수 2인, 산업간호학회 임원 2인, 5년 이상의 경력을 가진 산업간호사 5인에게 내용 타당성 검증을 받아 수정 보완한 200문항의 도구를 이용하였고, 2006년 9월 18일에서 10월 20일까지 자료수집이 이루어졌다. 자료분석 방법은 SPSS WIN 12.0 프로그램을 이용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 산업장 건강증진 관련 생활습관의 중요성 인지도는 4점 만점에 3.21점이었으며, 항목별로 보면, 사고예방 및 응급처치가 3.55점으로 가장 높았고, 구강보건이 2.87점으로 가장 낮았다. 산업장 건강증진 관련 생활습관의 실천정도는 4점 만점에 2.79점으로 중요성 인지도보다 실천정도가 낮았다. 항목별로 보면, 정기적 건강검진 실천이 3.52점으로 가장 높았고, 약물남용이 2.16점으로 가장 낮았다. 2. 산업장 건강증진 관련 환경관리에 대한 전체적인 중요성 인지도가 4점 만점에 3.37점이었으며, 산업장 건강증진 관련 환경관리의 전체적인 실천정도는 4점 만점에 2.76점이었다. 항목별로 보면, 개인보호구 지급 및 착용이 중요성 인지도와 실천정도에서 모두 높게 나타났다. 3. 산업보건관련 법·규정에 대한 산업간호사의 지식정도를 보면 평균 정답률이 55%로서 지식이 상당히 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 산업장 건강증진 관련 법·규정을 새로 제정하거나 개정해야한다는 의견이 4점 만점에 평균평점 3.35점으로 나타나서 개정의 필요성이 높게 나타났다. 4. 법ㆍ규정의 개정 의견에서 50인 - 500인 산업장에서 보건관리자로서 산업전문간호사 또는 간호사의 의무적 배치가 필요하다는 의견이 많았다. 5. 건강증진 관련 생활습관의 중요성 인지도는 타기관 근무경험이 있는 경우가 없는 경우보다 더 높게 나타났고, 보건교육실이 설치되어 있는 경우가 없는 경우보다 더 높게 나타났다. 건강증진 관련 생활습관 실천정도는 지역, 근무경력, 산업장 규모, 1일 평균 건강관리실 이용인원, 1년간 보건교육 횟수에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 6. 건강증진 관련 산업장 환경관리의 중요성 인지도는 연령에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 1일 평균 건강관리실 이용인원에 따라서도 유의한 차이가 있었다. 실천정도는 산업장 설립주체가 정부인 경우보다 민간인 경우 더 높게 나타났다. 7. 법ㆍ규정에 대한 지식은 대학원 이상인 자가 전문대졸업자보다 더 높았고, 법ㆍ규정 개정 의견은 학력, 근무경력, 산업장 업종, 보건교육실 설치유무에 따라 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 산업장 건강증진사업에 있어 생활습관 및 환경관리의 중요성 인지도에 따른 우선순위를 선정하고 건강증진 프로그램 운영 시 중요한 기초자료가 될 것이다.
