검진 수검자에서 혈청 Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 활성도와 비만 관련 인자들과의 관련성

Abstract

Dipeptidyl peptidase-4(DPP-4)는 단백질 가수 분해 효소로, 지방세포의 대식세포 및 수지상세포에서 DPP-4의 발현율이 높은 것으로 보고되고 있으며 이는 DPP-4가 내장 지방세포 축적에 역할을 할 것이라고 생각되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국인에서 혈청 DPP-4 활성도를 측정하고 비만과 관련된 인자들과의 연관성을 조사하고자 한다. 2013년 1월부터 2013년 3월까지 계명대학교 동산병원 건강검진센터에서 건강검진을 시행한 수검자를 대상으로 시행하였다. 비만과 관련된 기본특성을 측정하였으며 ELISA kit를 이용하여 혈청 DPP-4 활성도를 측정하고, 이들의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 총 585명 중 남성은 253명으로 전체의 43.2%를 차지하였다. 평균 연령은 44.63 ± 10.48세, 평균 체질량지수(Body Mass Index, BMI)는 23.46 ± 3.11 kg/m2 로 나타났다. 혈청 DPP-4 활성도는 체지방량, 복부지방률, 엉덩이둘레, 허벅지둘레, 혈압, 총콜레스테롤, 중성지방, 저밀도 지단백 콜레스테롤, 공복혈당과 통계적으로 유의한 양의 상관 관계를 보였다. BMI와 혈청 DPP-4 활성도간에 유의한 상관관계가 있었으며, 체지방량, 복부지방률, 혈압. 총콜레스테롤, 중성지방, 저밀도 지단백 콜레스테롤, 공복혈당이 증가할수록 혈청 DPP-4 활성도가 증가하는 경향을 보였다.

ipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) is an aminopeptidase. It is highly expressed in the macrophage and dendritic cells of adipose tissue, and is considered to play a role in the accumulation of visceral adipose tissue. The aim of our study is to investigate the relationship between serum DPP-4 activity and the clinical parameters of obesity in Korean people. Between January and March 2013, visitors who received a routine health examination at the Health Promotion Center in Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center were enrolled. I investigated the parameters of obesity and plasma DPP-4 using an ELISA kit and analyzed them. Among the 585 subjects, males accounted for 253 subjects, or 37.3%. The median age was 44.63 ± 10.48 yr, and the median body mass index (BMI) was 23.46 ± 3.11 kg/m2. Serum DPP-4 activity showed a positive correlation with skeletal muscle mass, visceral fat ratio, hip circumference, thigh circumference, blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol and fasting glucose and was statistically significant. This study showed that BMI and serum DPP-4 were significantly correlated, and that serum DPP-4 activity increased when body fat mass, visceral fat ratio, blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL cholesterol and fasting glucose in the participants was higher.
