An isolated, cervical intraspinal neurenteric cyst in a 12-year old boy who had showed remission and exacervation of neurological symptoms and signs was treated successfully by laminnectomy, intradural exploration and excision. The cord compression by this congenital cyst is rare. No vertebral anomalies or congenital malformatons were demonstrated.
