- Abstract
- Two patients of communicating hydrocephalus were treated by the lumboperitoneal shunt. The lumboperitioneal shunt provided an attractive and technically simple solution in communicating hydrocephalus.
Additionally, lumboperitoneal shunting should be considered as a primary mode of treatment in communicating hydrocephalus. The efficacy of this procedure was documented and literature was reviewed.
