- Abstract
- This study was intended to investigatee the changes of liver cathepsins B, D, H and acid phosphatase activities after 70% (median and left lateral lobes) parital hepatectomy in rats. The activity of cathepsin B in the regenerating liver significantly decreased between the second and the third days after partial hepatectomy. However, the cathepsin D and H activities in regenerating liver slightly deoreased between the second and the third adys after operatioin. And the activity of total acid phosphatase in the regenerating liver showed a marked decrease from one, two and three days after operation.
