최근 10년간 피부종양에 관한 통계적 고찰

Abstract

A study was made on 884 cases of skin tumors which were obtained mainly from surgical pathology specimen during the period of 10 years from 1983 to 1992 at Department of Dermatology in Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center. The results were summarized as follows. : Of the 884 cases of skin tumors, 737 cases(83.4%) were benign tumor, 147 cases(16.6%) were malignant tumor and male to female ratio was 1 : 1.2. Among the 737 cases of benign tumors, 103 cases of melanocytic nevi, 98 cases of epidermal cyst, 66 cases of seborrheic keratosis, 42 cases of granuloma pyogenicum were noted. Among the 147 cases of malignant tumors, 58 cases of basal cell carcinoma, 40 cases of squamous cell carcinoma, 11 cases of malignant melanoma were noted. The predilection sites of melanocytic nevi were face(32.0%), trunk(30.1%), scalp(13.6%), neck(13.6%), and those of epidermal cyst were face(36.7%), trunk(23.5%). The predilection site of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma was face(75.9%, 30%).
