Abstract

Adult onset Still's disease (AOSD) is an uncommon acute systemic inflammatory disease of unknown origin. The clinical features include high spiking fever, arthralgia or arthritis, transient maculopapular rash, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, and serositis. The laboratory findings include leukocytosis(neutrophilia), elevation of AST, ALT, ESR, CRP and serum ferritin, and negative rheumatic factor and anti-nuclear antibody. We report a case of a 52-year old woman whom symptom is subsided after steroid use. 성인형 스틸병(adult onset Still’s disease, AOSD)은 원인 미상의 급성 전신성 염증성 질환이다. 임상 증상으로는 고열, 관절통 및 관절염, 고열 시 악화되는 홍반, 간비종대, 림프절 종대 등을 보이고, 검사에서는 백혈구 증가증(특히, 호중구), 간기능 이상, ESR, CRP 및 혈청 ferritin의 증가를 보이며, 류마티스 인자, 항핵항체 등은 음성 소견을 보인다. 저자들은 고열과 근육통으로 내원한 52세 여자에서 스테로이드 복용 후 증상의 급격한 관해를 보인 환자를 경험하였기 에 보고한다. 중심 단어: 성인형 스틸병, 백혈구 증가증, Ferritin, 스테로이드
