침윤성 흉선종

Abstract

We have observed 12 cases of thymoma from 1979 to 1986. Of this, 3 cases are presented with signs and symptomas of Horner's syndrome, superior vena cava syndrome, pericardial effusion and constrictive pericarditis on each case. The clinical, roentgenographic, pathological features and treatment of these invasive cases are presented, and the literature concerning about clinical manifestation and management of invasive thymoma are reviewed and discussed.

Herewith we suggest that invasive thymoma should be considered in the case of Horner's syndrome, SVC syndrome, unexplained pericardial effusion, and constrictive pericarditis.
