신생혈관성 녹내장에서의 각막내피세포 및 중심각막두께의 변화

Abstract

Morphometric variables of the corneal endothelial cells and central corneal thickness were evaluated in 12 neovascular glaucoma eyes and 12 normal contralateral eyes. Cell area and density was 611.50µm2, 2,065 cells/mm2 respectively in neovasualar glauloma eyes and 441.33 µm2, 2,313cells/mm2 respectively in normal contralateral eyes and there were no significant diffeemce between two groups (p>0.1). Hexagonality was 55.69% in neovascular glaucoma eyes and 62.01% in normal contralateral eyes and the decrease in hexagonality in the former was statistically significant (P< 0.05). Other morphometric variables including coefficient of variation of cell area, perimeter, length, spape factor were not statistically different between two groups. The central corneal thickness was 0.532mm in neovascular glaucoma eyes and 0.511mm in normal contralateral eyes and the difference was not statistically singificant (p>0.05). It can be concluded that neovascular glaucoma induces morphological changes of the corneal endothelial cells which might bring corneal edema.

신생혈관성 녹내장에서 각막내피세포의 형태학적 변화를 알아보기 위하여 접안형 경면현 미경을 이용하여 신생혈관성 녹내장안 12안과 정상인 반대편 12안의 각막내피세포를 촬영하 여 형태학적 분석을 하고 각막두께를 비교하였다. 세포면적 및 밀도는 녹내장안에서 각각 611.50µm2, 2,065개/mm2로 정상안의 441.33µm2, 2,313개/mm2 비해 각각 증가 및 감소하 였으나 통계학적 유의성은 없었다(p>0.1). 반면에 육각형세포의 비율(hexagonality)은 녹내 장안에서 55.69%, 정상안에서 62.01%로 녹내장안에서 통계학적으로 유의한 감소를 보였다 (p<0.05). 양군간에 세포면적의 변이계수(coefficient of variation), 내피세포의 주변길이 (perimeter), 내피세포의 한변의 길이 (length), shape factor 모두에서 차이가 없었다. 각막두 께는 녹내장안에서 0.532mm, 정상안에서 0.511mm로 녹내장안에서 증가하였으나 유의한 차 이는 없었다(p>0.05). 이상의 결과로 보아 신생혈관성 녹내장이 각막내피세포의 변화를 초 래하며 이것이 각막부종의 발생에 부분적으로 관여할 것으로 생각된다.
