Abstract

Pilomatricoma is a benign neoplasm wich differentiates toward hair cortex cells. Occasionally, calcium deposits and ossification are seen in the stroma close to areas of shadow cells. We report here in a case of pilomatricoma in 24-year-old woman who had suffered from 1.5×1.0 cm solitary indurated movable nodule on left forehead for 4 years, because we first suspected it primary osteoma cutis. Excisional biopsy was done and revealed shadow cells with broad ossification and calcification
