일반병동 간호사의 의사소통 자기효능감과 셀프리더십이 정신간호역량에 미치는 영향

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of psychiatric nursing competency among general ward nurses as well as the influence of communication self-efficacy and self-leadership on it.

The participants were 197 general ward nurses who worked in a general hospital or a higher-level facility (more than 100 beds). Data were collected using structured self-report questionnaires from August 20 to August 27, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0. In addition, frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe’s test, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were used.

The mean score for psychiatric nursing competency among general ward nurses was 3.42 out of 5. There were significant differences in behavior health care competency according to general characteristics such as sex (t = -3.38, p = .001), type of duty (F = 6.09, p = .003), and remuneration education experience related to mental nursing (t = -4.51, p < .001). It was positively correlated with communication self-efficacy (r = .44, p < .001) and self-leadership (r = .55, p < .001).

The significant factors affecting psychiatric nursing competency were specific communication skills (β = .37, p < .001), remuneration education experience related to mental nursing (β = -.33, p < .001), goal setting (β = .20, p = .003), and constructive thinking (β = .16, p = .009). The explanatory power of these variables was 50.0%.

Therefore, in order to improve the psychiatric nursing competency among general ward nurses, it is essential to provide opportunities for remuneration education and to include specific communication skills, goal setting, and constructive thinking-related programs for general ward nurses.
본 연구는 일반병동 간호사를 대상으로 정신간호역량의 정도와 의사소통 자기효능감과 셀프리더십이 정신간호역량에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하는 목적으로 실시되었다.

연구대상자는 종합병원 이상급에서 일하는 일반병동 간호사 197명이었다. 자료는 2021년 8월 20일부터 8월 27일까지 구조화된 자가 보고식 설문지를 사용하여 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0을 이용하여 분석하였으며 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, ANOVA, Peason's correlation coefficient, Stepwise multiple regression analysis를 사용하였다.

일반병동 간호사의 정신간호역량 수준은 5점 만점에 3.42점이었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 정신간호역량은 성별(t=-3.38, p=.001), 근무형태(F=6.09, p=.003), 정신간호 관련 보수교육경험(t=-4.51, p=<.001)에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 정신간호역량은 의사소통 자기효능감(r=.44, p<.001), 셀프리더십(r=.55, p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 단계적 회귀분석 결과, 정신간호역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 구체적 의사소통 기술(β=.37, p<.001), 정신간호 관련 보수교육경험(β=-.33, p<.001), 목표설정(β=.20 p=.003), 건설적 사고(β=.16, p=.009)순으로 나타났으며, 대상자의 정신간호역량에 대한 이들 변수의 설명력은 50.0%였다. 일반병동 간호사의 정신간호역량 증진을 위해서는 정신간호 관련 보수교육의 기회를 마련하고 교육 내용으로 구체적 의사소통 기술과 목표설정 및 건설적 사고 관련 프로그램을 포함하는 것이 필요하겠다.
